Why Arborescence? Arborescence has two definitions. First, it means "tree-like" and is used in a similar fashion as arboreal. And I love trees. Second, it means "branching." Through this blog I hope to not only chronicle my journey through grad school, but to also connect with people, exchange ideas, and explore different themes in my life--including science, art, imagination, cooking, creativity, religion, and many more areas.
